asked the Minister of Labour whether investigations have been instituted into the conditions of employment in the licensed trades?

Yes, Sir, and I am in consultation with the organisations concerned with a view to the framing of a scheme for the regulation of the wages and conditions of employés.

Mr. Davies

While thanking the right hon. Gentleman for what he is doing, may I ask him whether the results of the investigations will be published?

Mr. Brown

I should like notice of that question. I do not know quite how far the consultations with the organisations have gone yet.
