Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to enable the Trustees of the British Museum to accept a certain bequest made to them by the late Lord Rothschild, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of the sums necessary to defray any increase of expenditure in respect of the British Museum which is attributable to the operation of the said Act."
