Lords Amendment: In page 9, line 37, leave out, "in the foregoing Sub-section," and insert: For the purposes of the last foregoing Sub-section the net remuneration obtainable by a worker in respect of any work after allowing for his necessary expenditure, if any, in connection with the work shall be deemed to be the remuneration paid to him and.

The Amendment is for the purpose of making it clear that the net remuneration received by a road haulage worker shall be arrived at after allowing for any necessary expenses incurred by the worker.
