§ Mr. E. BrownClaims for unemployment benefit made at Greenock during the recent holiday period were determined by the statutory authorities in accordance with the leading decisions of the Umpire and, in particular, Decision No. 2569/38, a copy of which I circulated in the OFFICIAL REPORT for 7th July, 1938. As regards unemployment 1109 assistance I would refer the hon. and learned Member to my reply to him on 30th June last.
