HC Deb 04 July 1938 vol 338 cc1-2
1. Mr. Sorensen

asked the Under-Secretary of State for India whether his attention has been drawn to the resolution of the Sind Legislative Assembly expressing strong opposition to the scheme of federal government and urging the British Government not to impose the scheme on the Province; and whether he has any statement to make respecting this further repudiation of the scheme of federation?

The Under-Secretary of State for India (Lieut.-Colonel Muirhead)

My Noble Friend has not yet been made aware of a resolution in this sense by the Sind Legislative Assembly, and I have no statement to make.
