Was there a reduction last year as compared with the year before?

Yes, Sir.

Will the right hon. Gentleman bring it to the notice of the firm responsible for this reduction that it is against the interests of this country that they should act in that manner?

Mr. Hudson

This is a very interesting illustration of the fact that when the prices of primary commodities fall, the exports of manufactured goods from this country also decrease.
