HC Deb 24 February 1938 vol 332 c521
23. Mr. T. Smith

asked the Minister of Labour the number of unemployed registered at Barnsley at the latest available date, and the comparable figures for each of the last five months in 1937?

Mr. E. Brown

As the reply includes a table of figures, I will, if I may, circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Mr. T. Williams

Will the right hon. Gentleman say whether the figures are going up or down?

Mr. Brown

This is a long statement, and perhaps the hon. Member will wait until he sees it.
