HC Deb 17 February 1938 vol 331 cc2047-8
32. Mr. T. Smith

asked the Minister of Labour whether he can make a statement on the age distribution of the wholly unemployed registered at Normanton, Castleford, and Pontefract, respectively, at the latest convenient date?

Mr. E. Brown

As the reply includes a table of figures, I will, if I may, circulate a statement in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Mr. Smith

How many of the men out of work would be over 50 years of age?

Mr. Brown
