(by Private Notice) asked the Prime Minister whether he is now in a position to say when the meetings between United Kingdom Ministers and Ministers of Eire will be resumed?

The Prime Minister

Yes, Sir. As was announced on 19th January, the meetings between Ministers were suspended pending a more detailed examination of a number of points by the officials of the two Governments. The necessary data are now available for further discussions between Ministers, and it has been arranged that Mr. de Valera and his colleagues should return to London for a resumption of the meetings next Monday, 21st February.
