Mr. CooperAs my hon. and gallant Friend will be aware, the award allows a choice between two alternative scales of charge pay. As this choice has not yet been made by all the chargemen concerned, and as there are in any case certain factors in the calculation which are not constant, an accurate estimate of the cost of applying the award is not possible. Making, however, such assumptions as seem justifiable, the figure is roughly estimated at £10,000 annually.
