HC Deb 08 February 1938 vol 331 c838
37. Sir N. Grattan-Doyle

asked the Secretary of State for War whether it is proposed to arrange that officers of the Territorial Army shall be permitted to attend the Staff College as students; and, if so, in what numbers and upon what conditions?

Mr. Hore-Belisha

Two vacancies at the Staff College will, in future, be allotted to Territorial Army officers, who will receive the pay and allowances of their rank during periods of attendance at the College. Candidates from the Territorial Army are competing at the entrance examination which will be held in February and March for entrance to the Staff College on 1st January, 1939.
