30 Mr. De la Bèreasked the Secretary of State for War, (1) whether he can make some statement to the House regarding the issue of the Bren machine-gun in place of the Lewis gun to Territorial units; and whether all Territorial units will be provided with these before the end of 1938;
(2) whether he is satisfied that there is now an adequate supply of anti-aircraft ammunition in this country;
(3) whether the Government will give an assurance that the new Bren gun will be available for all units, both Regular and Territorial, before the end of 1938?
