asked the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government to introduce a measure of redistribution during the period of the present Parliament?

The programme for the present Session, as the hon. Member is aware, has already been announced; I cannot anticipate the work of future Sessions.

Does the Prime Minister regard this matter as one which calls for action before the next General Election?
