asked the Minister of Agriculture whether his Depart- ment is taking any steps to ascertain whether an adequate electrical supply is being made available to farmers for agricultural purposes; and whether he is taking any steps, jointly with the Minister of Transport, in this matter?

I am keeping in close touch with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport in this matter, and if my hon. Friend has in mind any particular area where there are any special difficulties or lack of supply, I am sure that my right hon. Friend will gladly have inquiries made.
