§ The Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department (Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd)I am afraid the information asked for is not available. Large numbers of workmen's compensation claims are settled for a lump sum when the disablement has lasted less than 26 weeks, and in such cases the returns could not show how much longer the disablement lasted. My hon. Friend will, however, find some information on the subject in Tables 4 and 5 and on page 10 of the published statistics for 1936. As regards litigation, I would refer him to page 14 and Tables 8 to 12.
