HC Deb 28 April 1938 vol 335 c296
43. Mr. Day

asked the Minister of Health whether his reports show that there is still a widespread shortage of working-class houses; in which districts such shortage is most acute; and in what manner the Government propose to remedy it?

Sir K. Wood

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave him on 1st February, since which date considerable progress has been made.

Mr. Day

Is it intended that the next survey should be made by the local authorities as prescribed by Section 25 of the Act of 1930?

Sir K. Wood

That is a separate question.
