asked the Secretary for Mines the number of tin mines in operative working in December, 1936, and March, 1938?

At the end of December, 1936, seven mines were producing tin ore and development work was being carried on at three other mines. Comparable figures at the end of March, 1938, were nine and three respectively.

Has the hon. and gallant Gentleman any information as to the development of new mines in North Cornwall?
