§ Mr. LloydThe number of constituencies in England and Wales which do not coincide with one or more local government administrative areas is 279, 228 of which are Parliamemary county divisions and 51 Parliamentary borough divisions. The number of Parliamentary counties which are not co-extensive with one or more local government administrative areas is 39, and the number of Parliamentary boroughs which are not co-extensive with one or more local government administrative areas is 84. For this purpose the expression "local government administrative area" refers to a municipal borough, urban district or rural district.
