Mr. MacDonaldI think the House appreciates that the gulf between the two Governments on the questions in dispute has been wide and will take a good deal of bridging.
§ Sir P. HannonAre we in this House to assume that any friendly gesture from the Irish Free State will be treated sympathetically by His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom?
