HC Deb 21 October 1937 vol 327 cc28-9
56. Sir Patrick Hannon

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will make a statement on the progress made in the organisation of improved marketing facilities for colonial products in the United Kingdom?

Mr. Ormsby-Gore

Yes, Sir. My hon. Friend will no doubt have seen in the Press this morning that the first meeting of the Colonial Empire Marketing Board took place yesterday.
