§ Mr. RamsbothamThe value of agricultural produce sold to the non-farming community by producers in Great Britain, together with the value of home produce consumed in farm households, is estimated to have been approximately £245,000,000 in the year ended 31st May, 1936, the latest year for which figures are available. This is the same as the figure for the year 1934–35 and compares with £234,000,000 for the year ended 31st May, 1934. The figures given do not include cattle subsidy and wheat deficiency payments.
