asked the Minister of Labour (1) how many persons were registered as unemployed in each of the Special Areas at the nearest date to 13th September in each of the six years 1931 to 1936, inclusive;

(2) how many persons had been registered as unemployed for a period of not less than 12 months in each of the special areas at the most recent date for

Though his visit will be entirely private and unofficial, Herr Hitler has intimated after inquiry that he would be glad to see the Lord President of the Council during the course of his visit to Germany, and Lord Halifax has accepted the invitation.
