(by Private Notice) asked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make with regard to the report that the Lord President of the Council is contemplating a visit to Germany in the near future?

As he himself has already stated, the Lord President of the Council recently received an invitation to pay a visit to Berlin for the purpose of seeing the Hunting Exhibition. Lord Halifax has accepted the invitation, and will go to Berlin in the middle of next week.
