asked the Secretary for Mines whether, in view of the fact that much research and experimental work has been carried out, it is 1560 the intention of the Government at an early date to introduce schemes for the home production of oil by erecting hydrogenation plants in the special areas, so as to hasten the development of this industry with a view to finding work for miners and other classes of labour?
