46. Mr. Wilsonasked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the day-to-day administration of milk policy is in the hands of seven Government Depart- 1107 ments, namely, Agriculture, Agriculture for Scotland, Health, Health for Scotland, Education, Education for Scotland, and Board of Trade; and whether, in the Bill to be introduced, it is proposed to make adequate and effective provision for some simplification of the present procedure?
§ The Prime MinisterQuestions relating to milk naturally concern various Departments of State. I do not accept the implication of the hon. Member's question, but I may say that their respective spheres of administration will necessarily come under review in connection with the legislation to be introduced this Session to give effect to the Government's long-term milk policy.
