asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, in consequence of the introduction of income tax into Kenya, he proposes to introduce it also into Uganda and Tanganyika?

Mr. Ormsby-Gore

I have invited the Governments of both territories to consider favourably and report to me on the introduction of income tax.

Mr. McEntee

If the Income Tax is introduced will it apply to the natives?

Mr. Ormsby-Gore

I cannot imagine that there will be racial discrimination.
