HC Deb 31 May 1937 vol 324 c658
18. Lieut.-Colonel Sir Thomas Moore

asked the Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department, whether he can give particulars with regard to the recent visit to Scotland of a Russian trade delegation desiring to place orders to the value of over £7,000,000; and whether any final arrangements have been made?

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade (Captain Euan Wallace)

I have been asked to reply. I understand that no such visit has yet taken place, but that it is possible that arrangements may be made for the Soviet Trade Delegate and his Deputy to carry out a tour of inspection in Scotland similar to the tours which, as my hon. and gallant Friend doubtless knows, they have already conducted in other industrial centres.
