HC Deb 31 May 1937 vol 324 c663
28. Mr. Rostron Duckworth

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is now in a position to state whether legislation can be introduced during the current Session to deal with the question of electrical interference with wireless reception?

The Postmaster-General (Major Tryon)

Friend the Member for Sunderland (Mr. Storey) on 8th April last, the preparation of a Bill to give general effect to the recommendations of the Committee on Electrical Interference with Broadcasting is under consideration, but I can hold out no hope of its introduction during the present session.
