Mr. David Adamsasked the Minister of Health what steps the Government propose to take in implementing the findings of the Royal Commission upon Tyneside Local Government prior to the introduction of legislation affecting the same, in view of the widely divergent resolutions passed by the leading local authorities concerned upon the majority and minority reports and also upon variations of the same?

§ Sir K. WoodI will await their statements, which they will no doubt be sending me. Of course, if necessary, I shall always be glad to see representatives of local authorities on matters of this kind.
