HC Deb 25 May 1937 vol 324 cc98-9
9. Mr. H. G. Williams

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, despite the terms of Article ro of the trade agreement with Germany and of the protocol thereto, His Majesty's Government regard themselves as free to impose quantitative restrictions on goods coming from Germany in the case of commodities other than those specifically exempted and other than those covered by a marketing scheme or other system of internal control?

Mr. Runciman

Mr. Runciman

I have not had the privilege of reading through that portion of the Debates.
