Mr. WedderburnI beg to move, in page 43, line 17, at the end, to insert:
(8) Sub-section (2) of Section forty-six of this Act shall have effect as if for the reference therein to the Fourth Schedule to the Local Government Act, 2933, there were substituted a reference to the Second Schedule to the Rating (Scotland) Act, 2926, and paragraph (i) of Sub-section (1) of Section seven of the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1929.This Amendment provides that Subsection (2) of Section 46, which was added to the Bill in Committee, shall apply suitably to local authorities in Scotland.
