§ Mr. Ormsby-GoreThe area of Transjordan is some 90,000 square kilometres, some 72,000 square kilometres of which are desert area. As regards the second part of the question, I regret that I cannot add to the answer which I gave to the hon. and gallant Member on 8th March. As regards the third part, the sum given in my previous answer is required for the normal expenses of administration and public security.
