§ Viscount CranborneYes, Sir. The agreement which has been reached with the smaller parties in the German minority provides for a measure of alleviation in the German-speaking districts, particularly in the economic field. His Majesty's Government naturally welcome any action likely to promote the internal well-being of a friendly State.
§ Mr. HendersonMight not the Noble Lord also welcome this agreement as useful contribution to the peace of Europe, having regard to the possible friction that might have taken place between Germany and Czechoslovakia on this question?
