HC Deb 08 March 1937 vol 321 cc787-8
39. Lieut.-Colonel Heneage

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, when the officials of the Income Tax office in Louth, Lincolnshire, will be re-housed; and can he give the reason for the continued delay?

Mr. R. S. Hudson

Owing to the legal difficulties connected with the acquisition of the site, the builder did not get possession until the second week in February. The building work is now in progress, and, in the absence of unforeseen delays, it is anticipated that the new office premises will be ready for occupation about the end of June.
