HC Deb 08 March 1937 vol 321 c773
4. Sir Nicholas Grattan-Doyle

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether his attention has been called to the broadcasting in Arabic, for Palestine, of information from a station in Egypt; and, in view of the nature of this information, what steps have been taken to counteract its effect?

The Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Viscount Cranborne)

I am informed that no broadcasting in Arabic for Palestine of an undesirable nature is known to have taken place from any station in Egypt.
