HC Deb 05 March 1937 vol 321 c770

Order for Second Reading read.

3.59 P.m.

Mr. Westwood

I beg to move, "That the Bill be now read a Second time."

I congratulate the lovers of horses on the success which has attended their efforts to-day, but I would remark that if they had talked only half as long as they did, we might have had an opportunity of trying to save dogs from even greater cruelties than those of which we heard as being inflicted upon horses.

It being Four of the Clock, the Debate stood adjourned.

Debate to be resumed upon Thursday next.

The remaining Orders were read, and postponed.

Whereupon Mr. SPEAKER adjourned the House, without Question put, pursuant to Standing Order No. 2.

Adjourned at One Minute after Four o'Clock until Monday next, 8th March.
