§ Sir K. WoodYes, Sir; I have seen a Press report. I would, however, point out that the statement referred to the desirability of extensive study to determine whether legislation is called for, and I am therefore not in a position to make any statement as to the possibility of legislation.
§ Mr. HardieIs the right hon. Gentleman aware of the tremendous effects of the Bedeaux system and the Taylor system on the nerves of the workers; and will he not take steps to do something, in view of the nerve destruction that is taking place?
