asked the President of the Board of Trade whether negotiations for a new trade agreement with Denmark are still proceeding; and whether he can give any information as to the likelihood of a new agreement being reached in the near future?

No trade negotiations with Denmark are at present in progress. The Trade Agreement of 1933 was continued in force, with certain additions and modifications, by the Supplementary Agreement of 19th June, 1936, which is subject to termination at any time after four months' notice.
