§ 36. Mr. Loganasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air whether, in view of the special facilities offered, he 352 is prepared forthwith to select Speke as a central junction aerodrome in the proposed experimental scheme?
§ Sir V. WarrenderMy Noble Friend the Secretary of State for Air hopes shortly to be in a position to announce the decisions reached by His Majesty's Government as to the adoption of the recommendations of the Maybury Committee. In the meantime, it is only possible to say that if the junction aerodrome system should be approved in principle the selection of the central junction aerodrome will demand very careful consideration, and no immediate pronouncement is possible.
§ Sir V. WarrenderI do not think that I am the person to receive a deputation, but I will convey the hon. Member's suggestion to my Noble Friend.
