§ Sir S. HoareI regret to say that three persons lost their lives and two were injured as a result of the explosion which occurred yesterday morning at the factory of Messrs. Nobel's Explosives Company at Ardeer. I am not at present in a position to make any statement as to the circumstances of the accident, which are under investigation by the Chief Inspector of Explosives.
§ Mr. GallacherIn view of the discussion that we had the other day, will the Minister, in making these inquiries, consider whether limitation of space had anything to do with the explosion?
§ Sir S. HoareI feel sure that that and all relevant considerations will be taken into account by the Chief Inspector of Explosives.
