§ Mr. EdenYes, Sir, and I am glad to say that the situation appears to have improved. I am informed, in particular, that, in future decisions of the Trade Mark Bureau, more emphasis will be laid on that section of the Chinese Trade Mark Law, which lays down that marks which are calculated to deceive the public may riot be registered as trade marks.
