HC Deb 14 June 1937 vol 325 c15
29. Mr. Wakefield

asked the Minister of Agriculture what arrangements have the Government-subsidised Beet Sugar Corporation made for their supplies of coal in different parts of the country for their beet sugar factories?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I understand that the British Sugar Corporation have made arrangements to obtain the whole of their factories' coal requirements through a single buyer who is at present conducting the necessary negotiations with the collieries.
