HC Deb 09 June 1937 vol 324 c1756
56. Mr. Wakefield

asked the First Commissioner of Works whether he is aware of the lack of suitable changing accommodation for those who take part in organised physical recreation and who play games in Regent's Park; and, in view of the danger to health, especially to young persons, as a result of the unsatisfactory conditions now existing, will he take immediate action to remedy the position?

The First Commissioner of Works (Sir Philip Sassoon)

I am aware that the changing accommodation is at times inadequate, owing to the increased use now made of the facilities for sport and recreation in the park, and I am considering the possibility of adding to it.
