HC Deb 09 June 1937 vol 324 c1753
48. Mr. Day

asked the Minister of Transport particulars of any decision which the Government have now arrived at following the receipt of the committee's report on the question of Charing Cross Bridge?

Mr. Burgin

The London County Council have been informed that if they decide to proceed with this scheme, it would rank for the most favourable treatment accorded to other major works of improvement in urban areas.
