HC Deb 07 June 1937 vol 324 c1410
30. Major Procter

asked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that, in consequence of the rapid changes being made in various air-mail services at the present time many local Post Offices are unable to give the public correct information about the proper posting times; and whether he will make arrangements for all Post Offices to be supplied with full and up-to-date information as soon as it is available so that the public may obtain the correct details on application at any Post Office?

Major Tryon

Particulars of changes which take place from time to time in the advertised air-mail services from this country are supplied to all Post Offices as they occur, and if my hon. and gallant Friend will let me know at what particular offices difficulty has been experienced in ascertaining the proper posting times, I will gladly have inquiry made.
