HC Deb 03 June 1937 vol 324 c1167
51. Mr. De la Bère

asked the Minister of Agriculture whether he can now give the House any information as regards the stabilisation of the price of feeding stuffs?

Mr. W. S. Morrison

I have nothing to add to the reply I gave to my hon. Friend on this subject on 26th April.

Mr. De la Bère

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that I am a Conservative, and that the Conservative party were elected to support agriculture? Is he further aware that as a result of the attitude of the Treasury they are losing friends at the rate of a thousand a day?

Mr. Morrison

I do not see what that has to do with the question of the price of feeding stuffs.
