HC Deb 01 June 1937 vol 324 c844
31. Mr. Chorlton

asked the President of the Board of Trade what progress has been made with the Indian trade agreement negotiations; and whether the increased take of Indian cotton by Lancashire will be taken into account?

Mr. Stanley

As regards the first part of the question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer which was given to him by my predecessor on 19th April. As regards the second part, I will certainly bear this in mind.

Mr. Chorlton

What steps are being taken by the Minister to see that properly accredited trade representatives are attached to the delegations?

Mr. Stanley

As that is rather a different question perhaps my hon. Friend will put it upon the Paper.
