asked the Minister of Health whether, in view of the need of improved houses for farm workers and the increased number of applications for grants now being made under the Housing (Rural Workers) Act, he will prolong the operation of the Act beyond the date in 1938 when its provisions terminate?

I am expecting to receive soon a comprehensive report on rural housing from the Central Housing Advisory Committee, and this is one of the matters which will need to be considered in the light of the committee's report.
