asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the projected meeting of the committee for the study of the problem of raw materials in the beginning of September will take place; and whether its purpose will be to present a final report to the Assembly of the League?

Mr. Eden

Yes, Sir. The report will, however, first be submitted to the Council, which will presumably refer it to the Assembly for discussion.

Mr. Magnay

May we be assured that the members of this committee will take the matter seriously, and vote upon it?

Mr. Eden

We take it seriously; I cannot answer for anyone else.
