50. Mr. Erskine Hill

asked the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defence whether the committee which was appointed to consider and report upon the production of carbide in this country is nearing the conclusion of its inquiry; and whether their report may be expected at an early date?

I have reason to hope that the report will be received about the middle of September, but I can give no promise.
